Great River Region Days - Des Moines
Great River Region Days is a collaborative, regional legislative effort between the economic development organizations and chambers of commerce in Des Moines, Henry, Lee, and Louisa Counties. The event includes a two day trip to Des Moines. During the trip, meetings are held with legislators and state department staff to discuss key issues impacting our regional economy. The event also features an evening reception, breakfast with legislators, and a Great River Region Reception in the Capital's Rotunda for all legislators and members of Iowa's Executive Branch. All Chamber Members and community leaders are invited to attend.

Great River Region Days is a collaborative, regional legislative effort between the economic development organizations and chambers of commerce in Des Moines, Henry, Lee, and Louisa Counties. The event includes a three day trip to Washington DC. During the trip, meetings are held with Congressman and their staff members to discuss key issues impacting our regional economy. The event also features an evening reception and two breakfasts with our Congressmen and their staff members. All Chamber Members and community leaders are invited to attend.
