Iowa Wesleyan College, in cooperation with the southeastern Iowa chamber of commerce and economic development organizations launched the Southeast Iowa LEAD Institute in 2006 with a goal of developing leadership skills in the southeast Iowa workforce. LEAD provides an eleven-week, rigorous, graduate-level program designed to build future leaders for area businesses and organizations.

Dr. Randy Richards, LEAD Program Instructor
Dr. Randy Richards is the chair of the department of Managerial Studies at Saint Ambrose University and is a professor in Managerial Studies, the MBA and Organizational Leadership programs, and the philosophy department. An experienced teacher and facilitator for adult learners for over 30 years, Dr. Richards has also spent nearly 20 years in management in both the public and private sectors. He has international teaching experience in China and Lithuania.
